In a busy week for Canadian immigration, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1,800 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its third Express Entry draw this week. This latest category-based draw targeted candidates with French language proficiency, requiring a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 400, one of the lowest scores recorded this year.
Earlier this week, IRCC invited 6,300 Canadian Experience Class candidates with a minimum CRS score of 515, marking the lowest for a non-category-based selection draw. Additionally, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw invited 1,391 candidates with a minimum score of 670.
This month alone, IRCC has issued 19,161 ITAs over seven different draws, making it the busiest month for Express Entry in 2024.
